MEET THE TEAM

Braydon Davies

MANAGER

Hi Team my name is Braydon, co-owner of Fitstop Cairns! I have always lead a very active lifestyle and love studying health and nutrition. I have followed many different strength and fitness programs over the past 18 years building a well rounded knowledge of what works and what doesn't. I have a Bachelor of Commerce (International Business/Marketing) as well as my Cert III in Fitness and First Aid/CPR certifications. My favourite thing about leading the Fitstop community is seeing people transform with us from someone of low self-confidence and limited knowledge of how to train into extremely confident, fit, knowledgable members that then start helping other new people starting in that same position. It's quite amazing! My favourite Fitstop session: I love them all but its probably Lift as I've always loved strength training.

Josephine Tuah

MANAGER

Hi team I'm Josephine, co-owner of Fitstop Cairns. I love seeing our members each time they come in to train. Being part of their fitness journey and being able to meet so many new people is definitely a highlight for me. I hold a Cert III in Fitness and am currently studying my Cert IV. Physical fitness has always been a priority for me and an essential part of my lifestyle. I just love the sense of achievement and pushing my body to limits that I then aim to exceed. It's also great for mental health and general energy levels. My favourite class is definitely CONDITION! I've always loved cardio and HIIT training - it's the best!

Andrew Bell

TRAINER

Hi Team my name is Andrew, originally from Wales. My qualifications include BSc [Hons] Sports & Exercise Science (2004), GDip Human Nutrition (2020), Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology (due 2023). My favourite thing about coaching is creating an atmosphere where clients and groups enjoy their training, built on a foundation of solid programming and technique. Favourite Fitstop Session: Lift is a solid session with tried, tested and ever-reliable movements that get you strong. Plus for my own training it’s not too aerobic! PT Offering: I am qualified and experienced in 1:1 Nutrition Coaching for those aiming at weight loss and other body composition changes.

Jackson Clarke

TRAINER

Hi everyone my name is Jackson. I hold Cert's III & IV in Fitness and a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science. I have a lot of experience as a strength and conditioning coach for Rugby League teams including the Melbourne Storm and the Redcliffe Dolphins. Favourite thing about coaching: I love pushing people to a point that they didn’t think they could push too. Favourite Fitstop Session and why: My favourite session is Perform because it’s a great combination of lifts and cardio. You are challenged to use your strength and lift weights whilst being tested on the cardio front making it very athletic. Super challenging and pushes you to your limits.
