    Emily Jackson

    Owner & Manager

    I fell in love with Fitstop from the moment I was a member! So I knew Fitstop would bring the Hobart community together. I am so lucky I get to spend everyday with our community and exceptional team of coaches. I really missed the structure of training from competitive swimming and triathlon and found that Fitstop provided that for me. I'm also a mum and wife, and value family time, so I understand how important balance in life is.

    Qualifications: Certificate 3 and 4 in Fitness and Bachelor and Masters of Pharmacy.

    Qualifications: Certificate 3 in Fitness, Certified Strength Coach (SSIC13) Bachelor in Psychological Sciences, Bachelor in Medical Research Captain of Hobart Lions Rugby Club. Favourite thing about coaching: Helping people to change their perspective on themselves and their performance and build good habits. Drawing on psychological concepts to implement into training.

    Coach/Exercise Physiologist

    Qualifications: Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist. Favourite thing about coaching: I really enjoy working through injuries and limitations to exercise to ensure that you can return to the strongest, healthiest version of yourself. I also really enjoy a chat.

    Qualifications: Certificates 3 & 4 in Fitness and Accredited Exercise Scientist. Favourite thing about coaching: Working with anyone and everyone to help them see their potential and encouraging them to be the best version of themselves. Also working with likeminded coaches to build a supportive and welcoming community.

    Qualifications: ASCA Strength and Conditioning coach, Advanced Hypertrophy, Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness. I love working with people of all fitness levels and having them leave the sessions smiling, sweaty and feeling accomplished. I love the energy and atmosphere that the guys bring to the classes and the community we’ve built.

    Qualifications: Certificates 3 & 4 and health and physical education degree. Day job: full time health and physical education teacher at the friends school. My favourite part of Fitstop is the community. Whether it is to start the day, finish the day or outside of the gym. Everyone is so friendly, kind and supportive. Fitstop All In sessions are the best.

    Qualifications: Certificate 3 in Fitness and Pilates Instructor. Favourite thing about coaching: Putting our members through their paces and then seeing the sense of achievement run through the room after the session!
