Welcome to Fitstop Southgate. We are the Home of Functional Fitness located in Southgate Square S/C in Morphett Vale. We are all about Community, VIBE and making everyone feel super comfortable in the gym. Many of of our members were nervous about training but have goals they wanted help to achieve. There's no better feeling than having a bunch of like-minded members celebrating your effort with you. Many of them becoming friends after a session or two. We have athlete-inspired progressive training and that is scalable for everyone. Whether you consider yourself an athlete, or a beginner, you'll all find a place in the Strength and Conditioning style workouts we have planned for you each and every day! Move Fast, Lift Heavy, and everything you can find in-between. We consider you all to be everyday athletes, and if you're not there yet, don't worry, we'll get you there, together. We have kid's corner - available ALL session!! and supervised 9:15am Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Theres fresh onsite showers and plenty of parking in our shopping centre shared with Coles, Target and Aldi. First session is FREE, book in via the app and come and see what all the fuss is about!

Hannah Delaine

TRAINER

Hey! I’m Hannah, Trainer at Fitstop Southgate. I decided to become a PT because I love the gym and the energy you feel during a great workout, and I wanted to feel that every day at work. I also wanted a job where I get to help people every day. I have had the privilege of working as a PT, a group instructor, and a gym manager over the years, and I have had some amazing days at work, and watched hundreds of people smash their goals, so I think I made the right choice!"

Ray Wilson

TRAINER

“Hey! I’m Ray, Head Trainer at Fitstop Southgate. 🙋‍♂️ I love all types of physical activity, including outdoors. I became a fitness instructor because I love helping others, teaching new skills, and supporting people on their life journeys. I have worked with people from all walks of life, each with a different story. I’m looking forward to working at Fitstop. I have tried out their training sessions and love them!” Ray started his career in NZ, studying Personal Training, then moved to Australia, spending time initially in QLD before making SA his home. He has spent more than 15 years as a personal trainer and fitness instructor and brings a welcoming, energetic, and motivating approach to his sessions. He’s always had an active lifestyle, from diving instructor and underwater photography to mountain bike tours, surfing instructor, and boxing. If it’s active, most likely Ray has experienced it. He loves nothing more than moving well, enjoying being active, and having a laugh.

Daniel Sims

It’s Daniel and Tanya, the proud new owners of Fitstop Southgate!🙋 We are absolutely thrilled to be bringing a Fitstop community to the southern suburbs and can’t wait to meet each and every one of you.” 🤗 Daniel and Tanya have been locals in the area for 15 years and being the parents of 6 kids, they definitely keep themselves busy and maintain an active lifestyle. Daniel participated in a group fitness class a few years ago and couldn’t believe the motivational energy and vibe from the fitness community. He absolutely loved it and decided at that moment that there was a much more rewarding opportunity in helping others than the rewards of retail management. He was hooked! And just had to bring this dream to life. Together, Tanya and Daniel are now bringing functional group fitness to the community so they can help people to build long term habits to move more, progress more, and live more! 🔥

Tamikha Mcnab

TRAINER

"Hey! I’m Tamikha, Trainer at Fitstop Southgate. The journey that inspired me to become a PT started when I was old enough to get my first gym membership. I went in to upskill my performance in sports but found it tricky to navigate the equipment. I studied Cert ll Sport & Recreation in high school and went through to compete in my first bodybuilding show in 2018, where I learned more about different muscle groups and how to train them.” Gaining extra insight and passion through her experiences, Tamikha decided to study for her Certificate lll and lV in Personal Training so she was qualified to coach other humans through their fitness journey, build a strong community around healthy movement, and create a fun and enjoyable environment for everybody to thrive in! Tamikha has always had an active lifestyle, from gymnastics, to ICN bodybuilding competing and plenty of team sports along the way. She currently represents our state in Women's Rugby and understands the importance of making people feel welcome and in possibly a vulnerable moment when coming to the gym for the 1st time.
