Training is more than what your body can do.

Our first ‘Industry Sweat’ event in WA brought together an epic mix of the fitness community; creators, partners, coaches, and future owners for a session that truly raised the bar. The floor was full. The energy was high. The standard was clear.

This was Fitstop at its best: performance-led, community-driven, and built around people who are all in. To everyone who showed up, moved with us, and made the room what it was, thank you.
I train for me, but I also train to show my daughters what it means to be strong, consistent, confident, and committed to yourself.

Strong in the gym. Strong in life. Stronger for them.

Meet Jeff!

For him, “Move More to Live More” is more than words on a wall. It’s why he shows up for our owners, teams, and the communities they lead every day.

Behind every great Fitstop session is a network of people working together to make the experience consistent, welcoming, and powerful, from the first step through the door to the final rep on the floor.

Jeff is part of our Ops team helping owners find clarity in the chaos, define what winning looks like, and build studios where more people feel supported to move, connect, and live better.

When he’s not supporting our network, you’ll probably find him talking football, wrangling his sons, or getting ready to take on his 5th marathon on the Sunshine Coast this August.

Don’t waste your best reps before your top set.

A strong lift starts with smart, intentional build-up sets that prep your body without draining it.

Here’s what your build-up could look like before hitting a 5RM:

Set 1: 30–40%
Light warm-up. Get a feel for the movement and focus on clean reps.

Set 2: 50–60%
Build rhythm. Keep every rep controlled and consistent.

Set 3: 70–75%
Add load and build confidence.

Set 4: 80–85%
Rehearse how you want to execute your top set.

Set 5: 90–95%
Prime for your 5RM. Heavy enough to switch on, not heavy enough to take away from your top set.

Set 6: 5RM 100%
Five strong reps, full effort, while maintaining the best technique possible.

The goal isn’t to max out every build-up set. It’s to arrive at your top set ready to work.

Should you front squat or back squat? 💪

This block, you get to choose the squat variation that best supports your goals.

Front squat if you want to build stronger positions, improve depth, stay more upright, and develop carryover into cleans, front rack work, and overhead movements.

Back squat if you love moving heavier loads and want to keep progressing your biggest squat numbers.

There’s no wrong choice. The goal is to choose with intention.
