    Head Coach

    I’m a dedicated fitness professional with over 6 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. My specialty lies in strength training, with a strong passion for supporting women through their pre- and post-pregnancy fitness journeys. As a proud mother of four, I understand firsthand how important it is to maintain a balanced, adaptable routine that works with the demands of everyday life—not against them.

    My favorite Fitstop session is LIFT—I love the focus on compound movements and the long-term strength and mobility benefits it delivers. That said, I’ve also developed a new appreciation for the dynamic challenges and high intensity of our PERFORM sessions, which continue to push me in all the right ways.

    I’m here to help you feel strong, confident, and empowered—wherever you are on your fitness journey. Let’s reach your goals together 💪🏽

    Harley

    Coach

    I hold a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and have spent years working hands-on in the fitness industry. These days, I coach here at Fitstop Maitland, and honestly, I’ve found the perfect balance.

    The sessions here have pushed my cardio fitness to a whole new level while helping me keep the strength I’ve built over the years. I love the energy of the community and the variety in training — it keeps me motivated not just to coach, but to keep showing up for myself too.

    Outside of Fitstop, I work as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Newcastle Knights NRLW team and the Maitland Pickers, helping athletes perform at their peak.

    I’ve also found a new passion for fitness racing, and you’ll usually catch me getting competitive in a Fitstop Perform session — it’s hands down my favourite!

    Coach

    I first got into strength training quite early to support my performance in soccer and then kickboxing—but over time, I found myself drawn more to the gym than the field or ring. That passion eventually led me into powerlifting, where I fell in love with the structure, discipline, and challenge of strength training.

    With a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and years of hands-on experience, I now coach here at Fitstop, where I’ve found the perfect balance. The sessions have pushed my cardio fitness to a new level while helping me keep the strength I’ve built while the energy of the community and variety in training keeps me motivated—not just to coach, but to keep showing up for myself too.

    You’ll usually catch me in a LIFT or PERFORM session, but I’ve grown to enjoy the intensity of a CONDITION session. Whether your goal is to get stronger, move better, or just feel good again, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

    Owner/Manager

    Meet our manager and trainer Ricky! Ricky is one of the owner/operators at Fitstop Maitland. He has a Certificate IV in fitness and has spent a significant part of his life racing motocross at a professional level. Ricky believes that Fitstop Maitland is more than just a gym, it’s a community and a place where each person that walks through the door is guarenteed to feel a sense of belonging! His favourite thing about Fitstop is the fun, friendly vibe, the amazing members and seeing everyone smashing their goals. His favourite Fitstop session is Condition and he loves the assault bike!

    Owner/Trainer

    Meet our manager and trainer Jemah! Jemah is one of the owner/operators of Fitstop Maitland. She holds a Certificate IV in Fitness and has worked in the disability sector for 13 years. Jemah has a passion for working alongside all people to improve their overall health and wellbeing and to educate and provide them with the knowledge & tools to live a life that is healthy, balanced & sustainable. Jemah believes that Fitstop Maitland is a diverse place where all walks of life can enter the studio and have the ability to participate in physical exercise. Her favourite thing about Fitstop Maitland is the close-knit connection both inside and outside the gym with the amazing members who make up our community. Her favourite Fitstop session is Condition!

    I started strength training at 19 and quickly fell in love with the physical challenge. For years, I was all about solo sessions—headphones in, get the job done. But everything changed when I joined Fitstop. That’s where I discovered my love for group training and the power of a structured program. Now, I thrive on the balance of strength, cardio, and endurance—training that pushes me to my limits in a safe, smart way. I’ve built more mobility, resilience, and energy, helping me live and move better every day. My favourite session? Condition—the one that gets my heart racing, challenges my mindset, and reminds me how far I can really go with the energy of the room and the push from our coaches. You’ll find me around the studio assisting coaches, capturing content, and working behind the scenes to help keep our community strong.
