    Hey, we're the new owners of Fitstop Greenslopes!

    At Fitstop Greenslopes, we believe fitness should feel supportive, challenging and genuinely fun. As the new owners, our mission is simple: create a gym where every member feels seen, supported and proud of their progress. While we follow Fitstop’s proven performance-based programming, what makes our gym different is the culture we’re building inside the walls — one built on real coaching, strong community and celebrating every milestone, from first sessions to personal bests. Whether you’re stepping into a gym for the first time or chasing your next level of performance, our team is here to guide you, challenge you and make sure you never feel like you’re doing it alone.

    Get to know your coach!

    You’ve no doubt seen this bloke in the gym! (Odd because I’m actually writing this about myself 🤪😂) BUT!

    HEY! I’m Coach Ian. Part owner. Part manager. Part coach. Part maniac! 🤪🤪🤪

    I have been around Fitstop for over 5 years - starting as a client in our local Fitstop way back when! We then moved house and were super lucky that we found our local opening up at the same time 😍

    I’ve been in the fitness industry coaching since 2020 and have a passion for anything sport! I played footy (rugby union) through school as well as competing in track!

    After school I found obstacle racing! I mean what grown adult doesn’t want to go run through mud right 😂 and off I went diving into the world of OCR! This lead to competing at the Obstacle Course Racing World Championships in Canada in 2017!

    To me - family is everything. It’s why I do what I do - to set a good example for the kids that anything is possible and that there’s no boundaries as to what you can achieve when you set your mind to it!

    A few fun facts about me!

    - I also have a painting business (so if you need some painting done let me know 👨‍🎨) - I’ve had my ankle repaired as I ripped all my ligaments apart back in 2023 (do not reccommend trying!) - I’m an avid motor racing fan so if you want to talk anything f1 - we are now friends 🤝 - I referee rugby most weekends for “fun” 🏉! - My favourite session (besides heavy Lifts) would be Saturday! Nothing beats the vibes - the sweat (and the burpees) 😂

    You’ll currently see me coaching Wednesday lunchtime through evenings for everyone’s favourite spicy session of the week - with more coaching shifts to come soon 👀👀

    Meet the Coach!

    Hi team! I’m Trish (the better half of the dynamic duo!)

    You got to know Ian the other day - so now it’s my turn to tell you about me! 💃🙋‍♀️

    My health and fitness journey started in 2011 when I moved out of home and - as most people do - we were able to eat and drink whatever we wanted - whenever we wanted. This lead to a lot of unhealthy habits creeping into our day to day lives - and then it was time for a change! I signed up to my first gym and hired a PT for some extra accountability - and never looked back!

    In 2024 I decided to take the huge step and got qualified with my cert 3 and cert 4 in fitness - to allow me the opportunity I have now of not only being involved as your favourite hype girl and coach - but as being part owner of Fitstop Greenslopes!

    I’ve travelled the world competing in Spartan Races with Ian - and have also competed in multiple Hyrox races (mixed doubles, doubles and solo 😜) as well as Turf Games and a whole heap more just to name a few 💁‍♀️!

    When I’m not at work in the gym - you’ll find me behind a computer working on admin or running around after the kids!

    A few fun facts about me;

    - I’m a magnet enthusiast. When we travel; it’s a must that I find a magnet (or three) from our destinations! 🧲 - I was married in Vegas 🎲 back in 2015 and we travelled back to the same venue in 2025 to renew our vows!🤵🏼‍♂️👰 - I consider myself a “citizen environmentalist”. I love our Aussie wildlife and do whatever I can to protect it! 🐸🐸

    Coach

    Hi all - I’m Coach Elliott 🙋🏽‍♂️ A familiar face to many of you I’m sure!

    I’ve had a passion for sport and exercise since I was a child and that passion has shaped the way I coach today. I believe being a great coach and educator starts with being a good person. So I try to be someone who takes pride in building genuine relationships with everyone I have the pleasure of working with, whether that’s children or adults.

    I’ve been coaching for over a decade and also run my own youth athlete academy, HealthKix. Throughout my health and performance career, I’ve worked in strength and conditioning, adult diabetes care and respiratory physiology following my Master’s degree, gaining a wide range of experience that always points back to one simple truth: a healthy lifestyle makes everything better.

    Melissa and I moved here in 2024 and are in the process of making it a permanent move. We absolutely love the lifestyle, the people and of course the weather. While we don’t have our own family here yet, we hope to create one here someday. Until then, the incredible community we’ve found in Brisbane truly feels like family - and that includes all our crew from Fitstop Greenslopes 🤍

    Fun facts: - I take on a physical challenge every year - from skipping and triathlons to running in -20°C. I’m a big believer that leaning into discomfort is where real change happens. - I can’t say no to a cheeky brunch with a nice decaf coffee. I also can’t remember the last time I didn’t have 4 eggs for breakfast - I love football and will continue to play for as long as I possibly can. I’m also a huge Arsenal fan 🔴 - I bought a drone when we arrived in Australia and am still obsessed with capturing awesome moments on it (check out @melandells for more)

    You’ll find me on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings + Friday arvos! Can’t wait to see you all in the gym 🙌

    Hey, I’m Connor!

    I’ve been part of the Fitstop Greenslopes community for nearly three years now, and it’s become a huge part of my life. I’m currently studying with the Brisbane Lions, and my passion for fitness and sports runs deep. What I love most is helping people smash their fitness goals and building genuine connections with our amazing members.

    The Fitstop Greenslopes community is the reason I’m excited to coach every single day—it’s more than just a gym, it’s a family.

    When I’m not at the gym, you’ll find me at the beach, watching sports (or playing them!), and spending quality time with my friends and family.

    Coach

    Hey everyone! I’m Coach Kelsie 👋

    Sport and movement have always been a big part of my life. Growing up I was always active, competing in swimming, diving and cheerleading from a young age right through to university, where I studied Recreation Therapy with a focus in Kinesiology.

    I’ve always loved having a goal to work towards, and that mindset eventually led me into the world of bodybuilding. After two years of back-to-back competitions, fitness has truly become a huge part of my life and fuelled a passion that I now get to bring into coaching

    Over the past few years I’ve immersed so much of my life into training that it naturally led me to want to support others on their journey too. In 2024 I completed my Cert III and IV in Fitness, and I love that I now get to help people discover their love for training and realise what they’re capable of when they stay consistent and back themselves. 💪

    With bodybuilding behind me (for now 👀), my next challenge is taking on a HYROX doubles race in April, with the goal of eventually tackling a solo race.

    A few fun facts about me:

    - I’m originally from Canada and a dual citizen of Canada and the USA, but I’ve lived in Australia for about 7 years all up and recently applied for my Australian citizenship

    - Travel is another huge passion of mine — I always have to have my next trip booked

    - Outside the gym you’ll usually find me walking my Cavoodle Arlo 🐶 around South Bank or recovering by the pool

    - I moved up to Brisbane in December, so I’m always keen to hear recommendations for the area. So far I’ve been loving exploring and getting to know the community.

    Hey hey, I’m Coach Jem!

    After a few years of being involved behind the scenes with multiple gyms - I felt inspired to step further into the fitness industry and start my journey as a group fitness coach, working directly with people and being a part of their training journey. 💪🏋️

    I am genuinely excited to shift gears and get on the gym floor — helping people invest in themselves, build confidence, and chase their goals

    I can’t wait to get amongst the Fitstop Greenslopes crew and put in the work together as we all strive to become the best versions of ourselves. 💪🔥

    A little bit about me: - I ♥️ playing soccer. I’ve been in a senior women’s team for about 3 years and even managed to travel to Fiji for a tournament late last year. - I also love watching the Brisbane Roar and the Matilda’s play. Am I any good? Probably not… but enthusiasm counts for something, right? I just love the game! ⚽️🤪

    I’m so excited to see you all in the gym 😍

    You’ll catch me coaching lunchtime Tuesdays and Thursdays and I’ll be working out along side you soon as well! 💪
