Wall balls can make or break your race. So here are top tips from the competition queen herself, @casanne14 , who’s hit 100 unbroken wall balls 👑

𝗗𝗢:
• Catch the ball high
• Keep your hands and elbows behind the ball
• Lock eyes on the target to stay upright and hit full depth
• Stay calm and controlled. Make every rep look the same

𝗗𝗢𝗡’𝗧:
• Catch the ball low on your chest
• Let your elbows flare wide
• Look forward or down. It pulls you out of position and kills depth and accuracy

Wall balls are a mental game. Your body can do more than your head thinks.

Cass’s rule? When you want to stop, do 2 more.

Those small extras add up and can be the difference between finishing strong… or coming back for a whole extra set.

3 THINGS I WISH I KNEW BEFORE MY FIRST SOLO HYROX 👇

1️⃣ The Rox Zones are part of the race
They’re the transition zones between each run and workout station. Your time there still counts. Grab water, sip, keep moving. Staying in a run mindset through the Rox Zones saves more time than you think and keeps your rhythm locked in.

2️⃣ Wall balls hit different when you’re cooked
Whatever you’re expecting… they’re harder. Train them under fatigue, not fresh. On race day, break early and pace smart. I went with sets of 10 and honestly, it saved my race.

3️⃣ HYROX is mostly running
Yes, the stations matter. But the runs decide your day. Build the engine with long, easy runs and sharpen it with short sprints. Your legs will feel wrecked leaving the stations. I used lap one to settle, lap two to push.
