    Nat & Abbie

    Owners

    Proud locals of the Quinns/Mindarie community for over a decade, Nat and Abbie are passionate about creating a space where people can move with purpose and feel supported in their fitness journey.

    Outside the gym, you’ll often find them at Quinns Beach with their two boys or walking their dog Roley along the coast. Their love for fitness, community, and connection is what drives their vision for Fitstop Clarkson.

    They’re excited to welcome you in and be part of your journey—wherever you're starting from!

    Mikaela

    Manager & Head Trainer

    With a Bachelor’s degree in Health, Sport and Human Performance, majoring in Human Performance Science, Mikaela brings both academic knowledge and hands-on experience to the Fitstop Clarkson team.

    She has been working in the health and fitness industry for over six years and has a strong background in high-level netball, which has shaped her understanding of performance, teamwork, and dedication. Mikaela is deeply passionate about helping others improve their lives through movement, mindset, and community connection.

    Mikaela is driven by a genuine desire to create an inclusive and empowering environment where people of all fitness levels feel supported and inspired to reach their goals.

    Chiquita

    Trainer

    Chiquita has been part of the fitness industry for several years, with experience in both one-on-one and group coaching. Her love for fitness began at a young age through netball and athletics, and she’s passionate about helping others discover their own strength and confidence through movement.

    As a Fitstop coach, Chiquita loves being able to support members in reaching their goals while keeping sessions fun, challenging, and full of variety. She thrives in the positive, high-energy environment that Fitstop is known for.

    Outside the gym, Chiquita is all about the outdoors—you’ll often find her camping or enjoying a beach day on her time off.

    James

    Trainer

    With nine years of experience in strength and conditioning coaching and a lifelong passion for training, James brings strong knowledge and great energy to every session.

    Now serving on station after graduating from the Firefighter Academy, James continues to balance his role as a firefighter with his passion for coaching.

    Driven by helping members improve their strength, performance, and confidence, James is proud to be part of the Fitstop team and loves pushing members to get the best out of themselves.

    Connor

    Trainer

    With over 15 years of hands-on fitness experience, Connor has trained across bodybuilding, Muay Thai, and CrossFit before spending the last three years coaching group fitness classes. He currently works as a Remedial Massage Therapist, having supported elite athletes from the Fremantle Dockers, Perth Wildcats, and Perth Glory. Connor is also completing a degree in Sports Nutrition and will graduate soon.

    Connor loves being a Fitstop trainer because it unites all his favourite training elements—hard lifting, technical skill work, and community spirit—into one supportive environment.

    Sam

    Trainer

    Sam has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years and has been running her own business for the past 5. She’s worked with a variety of businesses and highly qualified professionals across both fitness and nutrition.

    She holds a Certificate IV in Fitness and is currently studying nutrition, with a genuine love for learning how the human body works. When she’s not coaching or training, you’ll find Sam in the gym, on the netball court, or deep in research on all things training, nutrition, and performance.

Our community

Our group strength training is built on athlete-inspired programming and proven performance methods. We design every session to translate into real-world strength and capability.
